Bringing healthcare home — Congratulations, HumanFirst!

We are proud to share our continued investment in HumanFirst (formerly Elektra Labs), leading its $12M Series A along with Lux Capital, Threshold Ventures, Arkitekt Ventures, Boost VC, SV Angel, Village Global, and other angel investors.

Since first leading the seed round in 2019, we have been blown away by the growth and traction of the company and its Atlas platform. Atlas launched in 2019 to ensure safe, effective, and personalized adoption of connected technologies in real-world settings. Since launch, 22 out of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies have used the platform to evaluate connected technologies. In addition to working with nearly all the top pharmaceutical companies, HumanFirst has driven the creation of ‘The Digital Measures Playbook’, an open-access playbook for how to deploy connected technologies in the home.

With this additional round of funding, HumanFirst will go deeper into shepherding care into the home. The company will expand an API-led operational infrastructure for care and clinical trials in the home setting. With clinical trials and broad healthcare expanding in the home, HumanFirst is doubling down on its focus on ensuring equitable access, increasing patient comfort, and improving outcomes.
