Welcome to our newest Managing Director, Ryan Isono!

We’re thrilled to announce that Ryan Isono has joined Maverick Ventures as a Managing Director. Ryan brings nearly a decade of experience in venture capital and finance, coupled with a stellar reputation as a thoughtful, strategic partner to founders. Based in San Francisco, Ryan will build on our decades of technology investing to accelerate our partnerships with visionary founders building transformative companies.

The current pace of innovation fueled by AI advancements is unprecedented, evidenced by the abundance of opportunities for disruption and category creation. We are excited to double down on our efforts here with Ryan joining the team. His sharp instincts, intellectual depth, and dedication to founders will support Maverick’s mission of working with visionary companies from inception through IPO and beyond. As we spent more time with Ryan, these traits, in addition to his ability to identify exciting, yet non-consensus areas, stood out and were echoed by founders, investors and operators alike.

Ryan graduated from Harvard College and began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse. Since then, Ryan has invested in all forms of B2B software, most recently as a Partner at Felicis, where he worked with rapidly scaling companies across sectors including PermitFlow, n8n and more.
